A replacement door needs to suit the opening, the room and everyday use. Our door carpentry includes internal doors, entrance doors, timber frames and custom-size solutions for unusual openings. We can discuss panelled, flush and glazed styles, as well as cavity sliding or bifold arrangements where the opening and proposed work allow.
The door, frame, hardware and surrounding finishes are considered together. For a repair, we first need to understand what is happening: sticking, visible damage, poor fit or a change in how the opening will be used. Matching the profile of existing trims is particularly useful when replacing one element within an older interior.

Photograph both sides of the doorway, the frame and any damaged areas. Include approximate dimensions, the door style you prefer and whether existing handles or other hardware will be retained. Can you work with non-standard door sizes?
Yes. Custom-size doors can be discussed for unusual openings. Accurate measurements, the intended door style and the condition of the frame are needed before the work is agreed.
Do you install architraves and skirting as well?
Yes. These can be included with door work or a wider renovation. Send close-up photographs if you want new timber profiles to complement existing details.
What should I include in a door installation enquiry?
Send your suburb, photographs, approximate opening dimensions and whether you need supply and installation or installation of a door you already have. Mention any proposed hardware and changes to the frame.
